When group classes just aren’t enough to solve your dogs’ issues you will benefit from some one on one attention. You can come to us or we can come to you depending on which is best suited to the issue we are dealing with.  We will walk you through the ”real life” scenario’s you are struggling with and teach you how to handle the situation so you can maintain the training long after we are gone.

These sessions were created for particularly challenging dogs with almost any behavioural issue. Examples might be: possessiveness, barking, leash reactivity (lunging or pulling), mild-moderate “aggression”, or general disobedience. Some behaviours are almost impossible to cure in a regular obedience classroom environment of multiple dogs and need more than the basics of “sit, stay, come”. We use canine psychology and understand behaviour to get to the root of the problem, not just cover it up.

Pricing:

One Month Program

• For dogs with minimal behavioural issues or those looking for an obedience training boost and simply prefer a private lesson to a group class
• 4 lessons plus a FREE 30 minute initial consultation- $220 (save $20)

90Day program

• This is recommended for those with more challenging behavioural issues such as “fearful” or “reactive” dogs.
• 9 lessons plus a FREE 30 minute initial consultation -$450 ( The best deal! Save $90.00)

Single Consultation

• $60.00

• NO TRAVEL FEES!! Prices do not include tax.

Fido Free Training (2- 3 hours)

• $85.00 single lesson or 4 lessons for $300 (Save $40.00)

• Must already be a current or past client of In The Dog House.

As we cannot keep large breeds in our home, our board and train service is not an option for many dogs that need it. However, I can provide your dog with extended training time without requiring you to be present.

The benefits to this process are:

• Dogs are often “different” without the owner around allowing the Trainer to work further towards the target goal.
•  Sometimes breakthroughs can take place if more time is allowed than our usual 1 hour session to work on a particular task. This allows the trainer the flexibility to try out various techniques to see what the dog responds to best.
• This also takes out the “human training” portion which will allow the Trainer to focus solely on the dogs progress. Your dog would be the ONLY dog with the trainer during this time. It is a complete private lesson.

Lessons to be held in Surrey only. Exact location may vary.

Please note: While we have in the past, In The Dog House will no longer work with large breed dogs with severe human aggression or human bite history, but would be happy to refer you to another Trainer. Your naughty Chihuahua doesn’t count… we are happy to work with him! If you are unsure where the fine line is drawn please give us as call as we WILL work with many dogs other Trainers turn away, there is just a select few we now feel is more appropriate to pass on.
